In The Red Letters

Shalom! Hello, and welcome to In The Red Letters.com

In order to know someone, you must spend time with them. You must not only talk with them, but you must listen to them. That's the purpose of intheredletters.com. Yeshua (Jesus) wants everyone to KNOW Him Matt 11:28-30 Every man, every woman, every boy and every girl. Everyone 2Pe 3:9. He's already initiated the conversation Rev 3:20. He wants a relationship with each one of us not only goes below the surface, but to our very core Rev 2:23b. Salvation is the first step, and there's so much more He has to offer John 16:12-14.

Our Mission

Aleph and Tav

The mission of this website is to supply information to help you discover ALL the life Yeshua (Jesus) offers you in the red letters John 10:10. It so saddens my heart to speak with my brothers and sisters who don't intimately know Him. He doesn't want you to know of him, but to intimately know him Matt 7:23a. I've heard so many say they don't know his voice John 10:27. Is it Yeshuas' (Jesus') fault we don't recognize his voice? NO, NO, a thousand times NO! (Revelation 3:20 Yeshua (Jesus) states; Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.).

Our Vision

It is the vision of this site to be a bridge 2Cor 5:18-20 that will enable you to cross over into all that Yeshua (Jesus) has for you John 15:11. We are NOT promoting a religion, or encouraging you to be "religious". We are promoting a relationship with the one who loves you and offers you life, eternal joyful fantastic abundant life!

Aleph and Tav

So, some of you are probably asking, what's with the unusual looking symbols. Easy answer, it's Hebrew! Those two letters are the; alefAlephand the tavTav. Note that Hebrew is read from right to left. They are the first and last letters (respectively) of the Hebrew alef-bet (alphabet). So what is the Alef and the Tav? Adonai Yeshua (Jesus). He IS The Alef and The Tav. These two letters are the "first and the last." They are the "beginning and the end". The Alef and the Tav, translated in most English Bibles as Alpha and Omega, which are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.

Yeshua (Jesus)

Have you ever wondered what Yeshua (Jesus) meant when he said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega"? We have some idea that this is just another way of saying, "I am the first and the last, the beginning and the end." And that is correct, certainly, but He is saying so much more. Yeshua (Jesus) is saying, "I am the signature of Yahweh (the LORD)." This phrase, "I am the Alef (Alpha) and the Tav (Omega)," first appears in Revelation 1:8 and last appears in Revelation 22:13. However, the depiction of Yeshua (Jesus) as the Alef and the Tav is first made in Genesis 1:1. When Yeshua (Jesus) says to John before the grand revelation, "I am the Aleph and the Tav," He is, in fact, referencing the first sentence of the Bible, and, in the process, clarifying a mystery that has existed since the Torah (Law) was first written.

Cross In The Star

Actually, it is to this Alef and Tav that Yeshua (Jesus) was referring. Just as the book of Revelation begins and ends with Yeshua (Jesus) saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega," so too does the Bible.

When John writes, (John 1:1-3) "1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim (God), and the Word was Elohim (God). 2. He was in the beginning with Elohim (God). 3. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." Yeshua (Jesus) as "the Word" is really Yeshua (Jesus) as every word: the Alef and the Tav and everything in between, the entirety of Holy Scripture our Bible.

Revelation 1:8 Yeshua (Jesus) states, I am Alef (Alpha) and Tav (Omega), the beginning and the ending, saith Adonai (the Lord), which is, and which was, and which is to come, El Shaddai (the Almighty God).

Revelation 1: 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first (alef) and the last (tav):

Hebrew

The most common word in the Hebrew Bible is the word AlephTav (et), formed by the first hebrew letter letter aleph Aleph, and the last letter tav Tav. It can be seen in the very first verse in the Bible as AlephTav(Remember, Hebrew is read from right to left).

Genesis 1:1

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning Elohim (God) created the heaven and the earth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim (God), and the Word was Elohim (God). 2. The same was in the beginning with Elohim (God).

The Hebrew word for "truth" is Truth (emet).

Like truth, the word Truth is perfectly balanced. First, the word begins with the first letter of the Hebrew alef-bet (alef) and ends with the last letter (tav) and includes one of the two middle letters (mem). It is thus balanced throughout the Hebrew alef-bet. The word "Truth" is balanced; each has two "legs" to stand firmly on the baseline. (John 14:6 Yeshua (Jesus) saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.)

Truth

The Hebrew word for "falsehood" (Falsehood, sheker), however, is unbalanced. The base of the letter Shin (Shin) does not stand balanced on the baseline. The form of the letter Qof (qof) includes an extended left-sided stroke that descends below the baseline. So too with the letter-form of the Resh (resh), as it includes no "supporting" stroke on its left; according to its form, it should fall.

Falsehood

On this the Sages commented Falsehood has no leg, "Falsehood has no leg" to stand on (As Yeshua (Jesus) states in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:). And, unlike Truth, the word Falsehood includes three letters in reverse order in the alef-bet, yet another sign of its lack of balance and truth.

So, let us continue on this journey together. (Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?)
